Widowed just over 8 years ago when my English wife, Penny, sadly died of of a nasty cancer. I have lived most of my adult life in England. I have been in the travel industry for a long time and have been in more countries than I can remember. I had my own tour operation at 103 Waterloo Road (opposite Waterloo RW Station) and in 1984 I successfully bid to charter Concorde to take the European Golf team to fly to Coulombus Ohio to play the American team in the Ryder Cup.
I also had a Greek Cat called Pelion who Penny and I found in a small seaside village called Horto on the Pelion Peninsula so we called him Pelion as it is the name of a Greek God. He was a real jet setting cat who flew from Athens to London and the from London to Australia ... he even had his own passport.
